Sorry I couldn't sit thru those clips as my mind vomits when I hear those guys speak, but I'd liketo hear the bit with pre teenagers getting baptized. Where was that? It seems only recently they were saying get baptized at 12-14, and now they're saying 8 or 9? The Mormons baptise their kids at 8 as a rite of passage I believe.

Boy Geoff Jackson has gotten FAT!
the important asia pacific economic conference is underway in bali.
asia pacific leaders are gathering to discuss building further economic progress.
that is, ap leaders without us president obama who can't attend because his nation is riven by yet another crisis.. but as china's president xi arrived:.
Nice. Tony Abbott hasn't said anything stupid to the Chinese yet.
the biases of the earlier iteration of the nwt have been known and discussed from the appearance of the first appearance in 1950, and i assume the revised edition will be affected by the same prejudicial biases.
one can cynically subscribe to the view that this is a financial bonanza and possibly a distraction from the imminent centenary of that distant significant date.. my interest will be to see how the impact of this revision evolves, particularly in the area of the wts's support material and on the impact its release will have on witnesses.
some preliminary thoughts are:.
Apparently you can get it from jw.org from Monday.
I have a jw friend who is furious about the changes, especially the omissions from John n mark.
david splain "using delightful words and accurate words of truth.
" presented his talk at the agm.
they have revised the interpretation of leviticus 5:1. leviticus 5:1 old nwt "now in the case that a soul sins in that he has heard public cursing...blah blah..".
Yeah that's what I thought.

But what does the NNWT say?
plain, common horse sense; understanding of evident truths.. .
they speak the same language.
try to do the same for the british and respect the things they treasure.. .
That's very interesting. It's a very flattering picture of the British too. I find them to be a great people.
for people who have a paralyzing fear of dying, to where it seems like it's this horrible, stalking monster, jwism is a powerful sedative.. but really, the idea of living forever, in human form, is nonsense.
living forever isn't about living forever, it's about not dying.. death is natural.
it can be painful, sudden, or both.
I found it very comforting when I came to your realisation, Fresh Prince. It was actually a relief. One day, we will go to sleep, able to look back and then rest our weary bones. No pressure to live forever as a JW.
